Design Update: We've incorporated public feedback into the design and made revisions. You can check out the updated park design here (if you're reading this on social, see above for the link).
Project Progress: At their January 21 monthly meeting, the Parks Commissioners reviewed the revised design and the build estimate provided by American Ramp Company (ARC).
They requested that ARC break out the pricing for the Construction Documents.
The Commissioners indicated that they plan to seek funding for the Construction Documents at the October Town Meeting.
What Does This Mean? We’re making steady progress! While the process may feel slower than we’d like, each step is moving us in the right direction. We’re grateful for the continued support from the community and appreciate the Parks Department and Commissioners for keeping this project on track.
We Need Your Help! We’re looking for more people to get involved with our committee and non-profit. Specifically, we need:
A new Treasurer: Our current treasurer, Joe Neuman, has stepped down. Joe’s dedication and hard work have been instrumental in getting us this far, and while he remains an advocate, we need someone to fill his role. If you or someone you know is interested, please reach out!
Fundraising & Grants Experts: We’re actively seeking individuals with experience in fundraising and grant writing to help secure funding for the next stages of the project.
